Routes narrates Lino Damião's personal journey when he visits Luanda, which passes through "Rua da Lama". The piece is enriched with cut-outs that refer to the song "Xalamanda" by a group from Swaziland, as well as incorporating the image of a migratory bird, the katutui. This bird, found in southern Angola, symbolises the idea of migration and return, highlighting the continuity of journeys that shape experience and memory.
