ABOUT THE ARTIST

Lino Damião

Lino Damião was born in Luanda in 1977.
Encouraged by his father, he started drawing and painting at an early age, having received his first prize in 1989 - Painting Prize at the National Union of Plastic Artists.
He has participated in several solo and group exhibitions: “1st Stop: Lisbon” 2012, 1st Macau Literary Festival “Rota das Letras” 2012, Lisbon Contemporary Art Fair 2010, 1st Luanda Triennale 2007, among others.
