What to Expect After My Purchase?

After your purchase at Afrikanizm Art, you'll receive an order confirmation email.

Once your artwork is dispatched, you'll get a notification email.To track your order, visit the carrier's website (DHL or FedEx), locate the tracking number in the dispatch notification email subject line, and enter it on the carrier's site.

For order status, log in to your Afrikanizm Art account and visit the Orders page.

What's the Estimated Delivery Time for My Order?

The Artworks typically arrives within 11 to 15 working days from your order date, based on origin, destination, and customs processing.
Weather or unforeseen events may add 2-3 days.

Customs clearance may take up to 30 days in some countries; Check your government's policies for details.

Which Shipping Services Are Used by Afrikanizm Art?

What's the Shipping Process for My Artwork?

Shipping methods vary depending on the artwork and the artist'spreference. Each artwork's individual page provides specific shipping details. We collaborate closely with our artists to ensure your artwork is shipped securely.

Shipping in a Cardboard Box:

This method is ideal for protecting works in transit. Your artwork will be packaged in a sturdy, well-protected cardboard box, designed towithstand the journey from the artist's studio to your home safely.

Shipped in a Crate:

Larger artworks are securely shipped in wooden crates. These crates are specifically designed to transport artwork globally. They provide exceptional protection, with packaging materials that meet stringent guidelines to prevent movement during transit. The hermetically sealed crates ensure your artwork arrives intact.

Shipping in a Tube:

This option is suitable for larger works and offers cost-effective shipping. Artworks are rolled up and placed in a dent-resistant tube. Upon delivery, you can easily have works on paper stretched or framed by a local framer. We recommend sending rolled works directly to your framer for professional handling.

What do I do if my artwork arrives with damage?

We collaborate closely with artists to ensure professional packaging standards. If your purchase arrives damaged, contact our Support Team immediately.

When reaching out to your Sales Consultant, provide comprehensive details about the situation, including how you received the parcel, packaging description, and specific damage details. Photos are valuable for our investigations.

Please retain the original packaging upon receiving the artwork. All return shipments must be coordinated through Afrikanizm Art and shipped in the original packaging, along with accompanying certificates unless advised otherwise.

Avoid handling the damaged work, as we may have a restoration solution to suggest.

Cancellation Policy

Original Artworks

You have the right to cancel an order for an Original artwork before its dispatch.

If you're unsatisfied with the work, please notify us within our 14-day Returns Policy.
We recommend waiting to receive the artwork to assess it in person.

If you're certain about canceling, contact our support team immediately.
Ensure that all return shipments are made in the original packaging, including accompanying certificates.

Please note that refunds are subject to the current exchange rate, and funds are remitted in EUR.
We do not cover currency conversion differences.

Open Edition Prints

Orders for open edition prints proceed to production after payment processing.
Once production begins, we cannot cancel or modify the order.
If you need to cancel immediately after purchase or due to an error, submit a request via our contact form.

Please note that refunds are subject to the current exchange rate, and funds are remitted in EUR.
We do not cover currency conversion differences.

Our Return Policy

Changed your mind after receiving an original work of art?
You have 14 days from receipt to notify us.

Choose between:

1. In-store credit for the full purchase amount.

2. A refund to your original payment method with a 25% processing fee on the total purchase amount.

Need help finding a replacement?

Our free art consultant can assist you in discovering the perfect piece.
For damaged or misrepresented artwork, return it within 14 days for a full refund to your original payment method.

Return shipments must use the original packaging (including accompanying certificates).

Please note that refunds are subject to the exchange rate at the processing time and remitted in EUR.
