Consider the lilies is a solemn but subtle reminder to the male population and to the society in general on the need to understand the fragile and intricate nature of the feminine gender and the need to treat them as such.

Over and over in the society, we see abude, disrespect, injustice, etc meted out on the females, also over the years the women have been a casualty of rape and sexual violence more than their male counterparts. Women as well have been subjected to displacement, disrupted livelihood, disrupted access to public services, additional workloads within and outside the home and domestic violence. It is noted as well that after a war, the women suffer hardship as they take on the combined responsibilities of raising the children alone.

A notable wrong doing for instance is the gigantic blame, abuse and shaming meted out on the women solely on the inability to produce children and also the inability to produce male children. Fortunately, sciences has helped to prove this status wrong especially on the issue of the x and y chromosomes.

The foregoing instance has only been pointed out to show how the female gender have been unjustly treated generally in the society.

But we all know justice is a well recognized virtue in any sane society which rules injustice out on any issue for that matter

This then is a timely reminder to the public to remember the fragile nature of the females and treat them with due honour, respect and dignity.
