Rasto Cyprian
Rasto Cyprian is a young and aspiring artist whose artistic journey has been shaped by the mentorship he has received from fellow artists and his own exploration of art. His introduction to art came at the age of 12 when he participated in a school competition and won first place. This initial success sparked his interest in art, and he soon found himself receiving requests from teachers to create diagrams on the chalkboard, which further developed his drawing skills.
At the age of 15, Rasto joined the tutelage of Master Onyis Martin, and it was during this period that he discovered his true passion for art. Under the guidance of Onyis Martin, Rasto honed his artistic skills and continued to grow as an artist.
Throughout his artistic journey, Rasto has actively participated in various art competitions, fairs, and exhibitions. These experiences have played a significant role in shaping his art and expanding his artistic horizons. He is currently pursuing a degree in Educational Arts and continues to work as a self-taught artist.
Rasto's work is centered around the concept of pictures and their power to capture and preserve moments in time. He believes that photographs, in particular, serve as "moment keepers" that allow us to relive and cherish significant life events. Whether through paintings, photographs, or other forms of visual art, Rasto is passionate about the role of images in preserving culture and history.
His artistic journey reflects a deep appreciation for the way art, especially visual art, can capture and convey the essence of human experiences and contribute to the cultural tapestry of society.
