Azeez Afeez, born in Lagos, Nigeria, in the early 1990s, is a contemporary artist known for his expressive figurative compositions.
His work features dynamic, textured backgrounds resembling fractured surfaces and human figures rendered through fragmented lines and intricate patterns. Inspired by his multicultural upbringing in Lagos, Afeez explores themes of coexistence, identity, and urban vibrancy.
A graduate of the Polytechnic of Ibadan in Painting Technology, he has exhibited in Nigeria and the U.S., with his works acquired by private collectors worldwide, solidifying his status as a rising figure in contemporary art.
