This work, with the strength of its brushstrokes and the delicacy of its lines, captures the pure and complex essence of childhood. The children's gaze, deep, distant, and unsettling, seems to carry the weight of an untold story, yet felt in every line of their faces. The use of newspaper, with its disjointed words, emphasizes the silent struggle of youth against the adversities of a world that rarely offers them refuge. The figures, frozen in time, gaze determinedly towards the future, despite the oppression of the present, inviting the viewer to reflect on the essential role of the new generations in preserving an identity that, though broken, remains unbreakable.
