"She/Her" is a portrait woven from memories and silences, where paper and paint become mirrors of a complex and multifaceted identity. Through fragments of words and images, the artist gives voice to the invisible, the muffled, that which hides on the fringes of society. Hage

As a colorblind artist, Mukwendje faced unique challenges in finding his artistic voice. His initial years post-graduation were marked by an exploratory phase, experimenting with different styles and mediums. This search for a unique expression led him to develop a signature style that defies the conventional boundaries of visual perception.
