This series of painting explores the unending dark and bright times that every human must experience as an essential part of life.
The subjects are black personalities in powerful poses and they have dark and light blues as their backgrounds. The light blues representing the bright days, days when things go the way you want them to, while the dark blues represent the dark nights, nights when the only beam of light (sign of hope) are the little stars.
I usually paint from pictures of people around me, family and friends.
This series of painting encourage the viewers that even if the nights are dark, bright days will come and even in bright days you should prepare for the unknown.
