Sthu Manaka
Mthuthuzeli (Sthu) Manaka, a self-taught contemporary abstract portrait painter from Johannesburg, South Africa, has captivated audiences both locally and internationally with his distinctive style. His work has been showcased in prominent South African venues such as Studio Nxumalo, Kalashnikov, Rust en Vrede Gallery, Youngblood CPT, The Turbine Art Fair, the FNB Art Fair, and the Capital Tshwane Art Fair, as well as internationally at Van Der Plas Gallery in New York and M.A.D.S Gallery in Venice, Italy. Sthu's dedication to using his art for social good is evident in his successful fundraising efforts, including raising a million rands with Tastic Rice South Africa to support university students and contributing to Amref Health Africa's initiatives for children in Ethiopia.
