Inspired by the process of gardening and pruning around his studio in the Artists' Quarter in 6th of October, Greater Cairo, Emad Ibrahim used creative solutions combining depth and flatness as a result of cutting walls (climbing) of multicoloured Bougainvillea. The other stylistic aspect of his experience, namely expressionism, portrays the underlying tone of his scenes as a conflict between stagnation and activity. Such activity was experienced, manifested in the golden touches within the intertwined flowers that helped change the scene with shifts in light. All these elements contributed to making such an experience deceptively simple, in which Emad Ibrahim sustained a complete cohabitation where he depended on his awareness of the artwork and the deliberate practice of giving, taking, picking, selecting, erasing, highlighting... elements to serve his own point of view, imagination and impression of the scene and theme in question.
