Andreia Costa
Andreia Costa is a young self-taught artist who began expressing her talent at an early age. Her art explores the emotional complex of African women, the connection with cultural roots and themes such as resilience and beauty. Works such as “Raízes” and “Complexos de Mumuila” are examples of her unique approach. Andreia currently lives between Luanda and Lisbon, where she recently exhibited her “Transition” collection. Using mediums such as acrylic, watercolor and digital, she seeks a contemporary interpretation of African cultural traditions, connecting the past to the present. With the desire to study Fine Arts and become a curator, Andreia's ambition is to support the new generation of visual artists.
