""I believe the human body is a microcosm of the universe — a living system where every part holds its own life and intelligence. Through my work, I explore this intricate connection between body and cosmos, revealing the invisible threads that bind us to something infinitely larger.""

Aka Jkob

Jacob Lopes (b. 1992, Luanda, Angola), known artistically as Aka Jkob, is an Angolan multidisciplinary artist and designer whose creative work spans graphic design, graffiti, digital art, and interior architecture. With academic training in Architecture from Lusíada University in Angola and a degree in Interior Design from the European Institute of Design in Milan, Jkob blends technical expertise with visionary artistic freedom.

A founding member of Angola’s pioneering graffiti collective Baw Crew, Jkob developed a distinctive visual language that reflects his fascination with space, the ocean, the human form, and alternate realities. While his design practice is grounded in structure and precision, his artwork reveals a more subjective, speculative, and experimental dimension.

Currently based in Angola and working as a graphic designer, Jkob continues to push boundaries through his personal practice — where form, narrative, and digital media converge to explore identity, future worlds, and the unseen forces that connect all living beings.
